Jamaican reggae royalty! 2015 Grammy Award Nominee and past winner SHAGGY (“Mr. Boombastic”) headlines with singers MAXI PRIEST (“Close to You”) and SANCHEZ (“Missing You”) in one-of-a-kind celebration of Reggae’s lover’s rock, dancehall, ska and R&B fusion in two (2) big concerts at two (2) landmark venues on Valentine’s Weekend.

In 1993, Reggae artist Shaggy exploded on the music scene with his debut album, “Pure Pleasure.” His remix of the ska classic, “Oh Carolina” from that album was an instant hit in England and other countries. Shaggy followed up with his sophomore album, “Boombastic” in 1995. “Boombastic” went certified platinum, won a Grammy award in 1996 for best reggae album and topped an impressive chart list that included the top 40 Rhythmic Charts, Hot 100, Billboard 200, among others.

Maxi Priest knows music is universal. Over the course of 10 albums and countless live performances all over the globe, Maxi has unleashed a one-world music that heals, rejuvenates and uplifts. Maxi released Bonafide, which achieved gold status, and the single “Close To You” hit number one (#1) on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and number two (#2) on the Hot R&B Singles chart. In 1001, Maxi’s collaborations with Roberta Flack, “Set the Night to Music”. And with Shabba Ranks, “Housecall”, again took Maxi to the highest chart echelons. He capped off the year by releasing “Best of Me”, a powerful compilation of hits from his four previous albums.

Sanchez is one of the all time favorite singer/performer who transforms his audience into a mass choir at his live performances. He epitomizes elegance and style and is always splendidly attired in a formal suit giving fans the ultimate in appearance and presentation. His selection of songs range from soulful R&B to hardcore Dancehall, Reggae, balanced with religiously calming cuts that enhance the spiritual vibes of his act.
