Sarah Jessica Parker has to be one of my all-time favorite actresses. I don’t think that I have missed one episode of Sex and The City and I’ve probably seen a few episodes at least three times. The first Sex and the City movie was special and lived up to most of the hype. It was almost every girl’s wish that Carrie Bradshaw marry Mr. Big. The second Sex and the City movie was just ok but the costumes were gorgeous as was the scenery.

When I saw that Parker had a new movie in the works that was recently released last Friday, I was ecstatic that she was back on the big screen and I was eager to see it. At a time when murder, drama and fright rule the movies these days, ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ is a welcome change. It is refreshing and wholesome and there is certainly a moral to the story.

While the corporate world is ruled primarily by men, women too can be just as powerful and successful with a good amount of hard work and dedication.

For all those males who question whether it is possible for the married mom to balance a work and home life, the answer is yes, it can be accomplished with determination and fortitude. Sarah Jessica Parker proves that to be true in this movie although not without her own trials and tribulations such as temptations from a new business associate, missing her son’s first haircut, cutting Thanksgiving short to run off for business and making sure that she is there for her family when they need her most. There is also a reference to recognition of teamwork in order to ensure triumph. Working together rather than working alone is sometimes more satisfying and rewarding and assures attainment and give credit to those that deserve it.

With an all-star cast joining Sarah Jessica Parker composed of Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, Jessica Szohr, Kelsey Grammer, Christina Hendricks and Olivia Munn and directed by Douglas McGrath, this is a great romantic comedy for girl’s night out or for date night.
