SPREAD THE WORD AND MAKE IT ICONIC
By: Hope Wilkos, Writer/Blogger Photographer: George Whylie Videographer: Maxine NolanFashion comes across as refined, unique and masterful. It catapults us into a world of beauty and grandeur. We long to learn more.
Many viewers, fashion followers and style enthusiasts don’t realize what goes into the numerous parts of the fashion industry with the ultimate result being a perfect product for the eyes to behold.
Iconici TV brings the exciting ‘behind-the-scenes’ world of fashion to all of its viewers along with the magic of the world in front of the lens. It began with a simple yet extremely popular concept and has grown in leaps and bounds from there. Joining Iconici TV Fashion is now Iconici Weekly Radio so you get double the pleasure and double the news.
The inventive creators behind this venture, Marcus and Syndee, started it all with Poetrynmotion Photography. The idea was to showcase the individuals behind the scenes of a photo shoot and place some emphasis on their contribution as well. A huge amount of work goes into a successful-selling photo shoot. Besides interviewing the model, wouldn’t it be great to show the viewers the efforts of the make-up artist, hair stylist and designer so that all the pieces fit together so nicely to give you the finished product? With overwhelming ratings, this concept took off, and now, in addition to fashion shoots, it was time to focus on the fashion shows and all the preparation that goes into the glamour on the runway.
By moving forward with these events, the team of Marcus and Syndee began to receive inquiries from industry professionals in Denver enjoying the presentations and looking to capitalize on Iconici’s sense of style. They would have Iconici film the fashion commercials and then place these commercials directly on their own websites. Syndee was enjoying this career path so much that she took it to the next level and began to do fashion blogs capturing all the sophisticated and trend-setting styles of the fashion weeks as they are held throughout the year.
Being driven, dedicated and ready to set even higher goals for themselves, Marcus and Syndee decided to cater to their crowds by bringing on more hosts and starting a weekly show on their syndicated channel on BLIP TV which came to be known as Iconici Weekly. It would be a most original approach whereby the host would convey fashion and entertainment news as they filmed in studio and on location. It turned out to be a tremendous learning experience as they entered new and uncharted realms. This took off and over time, Iconici Weekly has veered away from fashion and now strictly focuses on entertainment, celebrity interviews and news now with host, Leena Geeter while Iconici TV Fashion focuses on fashion around the world. The hosts for this portion of the venture are Syndee herself and Miss Naiya Marcelo.
Once these parts of the business were established, the syndicated Iconici Radio was born. This was a way to reach out to an even wider audience and give them even more news in fashion and entertainment. This proved to be more challenging. Fashion is best when visualized, but on the radio, you must rely on the voice to get the image across to the listeners. The hosts have managed to do just that. Guests on the show range from all aspects of both worlds and give everyone involved with both fashion and entertainment, a chance to highlight multiple parts of the business.
Marcus is very proud of his latest project known as Iconici TV MMA bringing news, interviews and event results from not only local platforms but from various and different promotions around the world. One of the most successful and memorable events recently was the UFC Fighters Workout. It was a large Pay-Per-View event in Denver and that video was so widely accepted by Iconici TV MMA’s audience that this type of news has been added into the radio show along with blogs and working with local promotions when Syndee and Miss Naiya are not in front of the camera.
The videos have been seen in an average of over 54 numerous countries and the group has developed fashion affiliations with over 200 large and highly-respected fashion labels such as Prada, Gucci, Victoria’s Secret and Alexander McQueen as just some on the long list. To give their followers more of a designer variety, Iconicitv.com regularly rotates the designers that they showcase.
Although it may seem as if they have accomplished everything that they set out to do, Marcus and Syndee are far from finished. They are striving to become a prevalent household name throughout the world. They are adding more hosts to the team with “soon to be announced” hosts on the way. Stay tuned and check out all of their social media platforms to get the most out of fashion and entertainment in the coming months.
KEEP IT ICONIC! to stay ahead of the curve in news and upcoming trends.
