Close your eyes and faintly you can hear the beat of Donna Summer as you are surrounded by fellow disco lovers on the dance floor with the disco ball shooting off crystal chips of light as it spins above you.

Tonight, October 18th, once again the famous original Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street in New York City, opens its doors for one night only.  This will surely promise to be a most memorable evening.

Flashing back to a sparkling era, Sirius/XM reunites with members of the original team who actually worked behind the scenes at the club during its peak from 1977-1981.  The party will transpire once again.

The prodigious team that put the evening together includes Karin Bacon, Studio 54 entertainment producer, Scott Bromley, Studio 54 Architect, Marc Benecke, Studio 54 doorman, Myra Scheer, assistant to former Studio 54 co-owner Steve Rubell, Chuck Garelick, Studio 54 former head of security, Scott Taylor, Studio 54 former bartender and more insiders are ready to party and get down.

None other than the original Studio 54 DJs, Nicky Siano and Leroy Washington, will be spinning the tunes all night.  Celebrity guests will be in attendance and lucky Sirius/XM listeners have been invited as well.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without the eccentric dancers and theatrics, backdrops and aerialist performers.

So put on your disco shoes and your bell bottom pants and head over to Studio 54 to flashback to a time of partying and celebration.  Studio 54 Radio will broadcast ‘One Night Only’ from Studio 54.

If you just can’t get enough of the disco hits of the evening, tune in to Studio 54 Radio on Sirius/XM which broadcasts daily on Channel 15 and gives you non-stop, uninterrupted disco music from the top musical artists.
