The Billboard Music Awards Bring Out The Best

On Sunday, May 17, 2015, Las Vegas lit up even more than usual. Major stars in the entertainment world gathered at the MGM Grand dressed in the most dazzling gowns to attend the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. The Red Carpet filled with familiar faces to the pleasure of the paparazzi.

Once again, Jennifer Lopez dared to turn heads in a shimmering sheer Charbel Zoe gown cutaway right in the middle of her curvaceous frame. No accessories were really needed. Then you had the geometric prints that brought out the real beauty in Kendall Jenner and Zendaya.

The sun and the stars aligned from her shoulders to her toes as Rita Ora posed for the cameras in her Fausto Puglisi grecian type gown.

Balmain was the hit of the design world, coming up with creations worn by Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge. Each of these stars looked picture perfect.

Badgley Mischka, known for their glamour and luxurious designs that take the formal world by storm, once again proved that the gown flatters the woman and gives her an even greater sense of self-confidence. Meghan Trainor definitely felt like the princess, choosing to wear one of Badgley Mischka’s creations.

Also in attendance were some alumni of the entertainment world, excited to be a part of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. It was a welcoming sight to see Molly Ringwald, Celine Dion and Laverne Cox.
The most talked about transformation of the evening’s event had to be the award-winning musician and songwriter, Taylor Swift.

We have literally seen Taylor Swift grow up right before our very eyes. Starting her musical career at the young age of 14, her musical genre has changed over the years and she has blossomed into a superstar in eleven years. She always has an unbelievable presence, and on this particular evening, as she glowed with happiness and success, she was dressed in a white cutout jumpsuit by Balmain, accessorized with a Carrera y Carrera Tiger Ring of the Bestiario Collection in white gold, smokey quartz and diamonds. This jewel, an icon of the brand, was the perfect companion to receive her awards and dazzle as the absolute winner of the night.
Her songs have expressed remorse yet independence (We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, I Knew You Were Trouble), a beat that is difficult to ‘Shake It Off’ and a fashion favorite, ‘Style’, for one of her best friends, Karlie Kloss. Nothing could have prepared us for the young lady turned vixen in her newest video debut which had been kept under wraps until the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and called “Bad Blood.” This was truly a very different side of Taylor Swift, a aggressive and powerful woman, transforming just as music evolves. There are futuristic flashes with an all-star cast of Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, along with a few other cameo appearances.
Stunts accompany dancing and it seems as if Taylor is quite out of character, but, she is changing with the times and letting her fans see how diversified she truly can be. Once it was announced that she had won eight categories and her latest beau, Calvin Harris, had won one category, the two were a match that ignited sparks as they embraced in a congratulatory hug for each other. The two are destined for superstardom as they both have an amazing gift of talent that is continuously recognized and they humbly receive the praise.
