The Magic of Christmas

Outside the pure white snow is falling as the snowman and the squirrel converse,
Inside the magnificent Christmas tree is adorned with bulbs shining bright,
The logs in the fireplace are crackling and warm giving off light,
The presents surround the tree and the stockings are overflowing with goodies.
Soon the wrapping paper and toys will be all over the room and the giggling, oohs and aahs will be the welcome result.
On Christmas Day, childrens’ wishes come true,
Smiles abound and kisses and hugs are plentiful,
The big meal to mark the celebration is plentiful with everything delicious,
This holiday is a time of giving,
A time of sharing with family and friends,
A time to believe in all that is good,
The holiday is a time to put aside hostilities and to be kind to all those individuals who have touched our lives.
