The crowds came out to celebrate the inaugural annual party of the Battersea Power Station Development Company.  This was nothing like your ordinary gala. One of the greatest artists of our era hypnotized the audience with his magnetic sound as he performed in front of thousands at the historical landmark known as London’s Battersea Power Station.

Sir Elton John impressed as strongly in the present as he did when he first entered the music scene so many years ago.  Not as colorfully dressed as in his younger years, his voice was even more powerful and poignant as ever and he definitely moved the emotions of the crowd.  The ‘Rocket Man’ took to the stage with some of his greatest hits like ‘The One’, ‘Your Song’ and ‘The Greatest Discovery.’  He also sang some of the songs from his newest album called ‘The Diving Board.’

Many thanks were given to those who made the Battersea Development a reality and brought people together from across the community. It was a result that was worthy of celebrating and took much hard work and dedication.

Another famous artist and fan of Sir Elton John who also performed for the clapping crowd was Tom Odell, 2013 BRIT Awards Critics’ Choice Winner.
