If you are an avid sports enthusiast, the U.S. Open  is ‘the’ much celebrated sports event of the season that is annually enlightening with some of the most distinguished tennis champions coming out to enthusiastically compete for that grand title that will put them light years ahead of their rivals.
This year, the tennis championship was held from August 25th to September 8, 2014, just outside of New York City in Flushing Meadows at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Looking back upon each of the exciting days, this event proved to be more than just a tennis competition.  Well-known celebrities came out to see some of the most elite players, like Serena Williams, capture the crowd with her every powerful serve and strong swing of the racket. All of the popular stars toasted the success of the match with Moet & Chandon champagne overflowing in golden goblets.  Delicious sweet treats such as mini macaroons and mouth-watering lobster rolls were just some of the snacks that satisfied the appetite.

Over the course of the two weeks, the Moet & Chandon suite within the stadium, welcomed such popular fans as Victoria’s Secret model, Karlie Kloss and her beau, Josh Kushner. As the two were engrossed in conversation, perhaps they were discussing the strategy of the match. Taking a break from the world of fashion and design, Cynthia Rowley came out to support some of her favorite players. While taking a break from the tennis action to indulge in Moët’s “Suite Spread” of dinner, dessert and champagne, Rowley revealed she was rooting for client and friend Maria Sherapova, who has helped to inspire the designer’s new active-wear line.Â

Even a bevy of models decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week. Seen concentrating on the court matches were Tyson Beckford, sitting close to his girlfriend, as well as blond beauty, Lindsay Ellingson who was savoring every moment with her favorite man .

As Roger Federer â Moët & Chandonâs global brand ambassador â advanced to the semi-finals on the court, Thom Felicia gushed over meeting Steve Guttenberg, while Amy Schumer, who also took a Moët selfie to raise money for the USTA Foundation, kept mentioning that she needed a photo with Steve Guttenberg, only to keep getting distracted by the on-court action and running back outside to watch the matches.
While the men’s semifinals played out, Martina Navratilova played her own hand, proposing to her girlfriend of 6 years, Julia Lemigova, and commemorating the occasion with a magnum bottle of Moët Imperial Brut. The two sealed the deal in a private box, toasting in goblets of Moët, and then made a public display of their love on the Jumbotron at Arthur Ashe Stadium, again clinking Moët goblets to celebrate the momentus occasion.
As the U.S. Open came to an exciting end, New York rallied behind Nishikori to take the first-ever title for Japan. It was one of the historic moments.  On the final day of the championship, Jason Sudekis decided to attend solo and take some action pictures but ran across another Olivia who he socialized with throughout the evening, Olivia Munn.

Also spotted attending on one of the afternoons was Anna Wintour, who was hastily dashing through the stadium for the exit immediately following Federerâs win.
The sensation of winning still surrounds the stadium even though the event came to a fashionable ending yesterday. The U.S. Open brings in a tremendous amount of revenue for New York and is one of the most coveted events of the season. Â Fun was had by all.
