TINA FEY’S DAY OF ‘ADMISSION’

This is a comedy/drama about all the detours that a very routine woman encounters on her way to finding happiness. Tina Fey plays an admissions officer at Princeton University. She evaluates thousands of applicants for a living. Her life takes a turn as she heads out on her annual recruiting trip and at the same time is notified that she is a likely candidate for the position of Dean of Admissions when the current one heads into retirement.
The movie is directed by Academy Award-winning nominee, Paul Weitz, with a top-rated cast including Paul Rudd, Lily Tomlin, Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn, Nat Wolff, Gloria Reuben and Travaris Spears.
On March 5, 2013, not only did the cast and crew have their special New York City screening of the new film but Manhattan mamas gathered in the morning as THE MOMS,the media duo of Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein, celebrated the release of ‘Admission’.
Hosting the event was MARTINI Sparkling Wines. The guest of honor was Tina Fey herself wearing a deep blue Oscar De La Renta dress, Jamie Wolf earrings, Pandora rings and Christian Louboutin shoes. She was mingling amongst the crowd answering questions and greeting all the guests as light breakfast bites and MOMosas were served.
A couple of the other guests on hand were new mom and culinary star, Donatella Arpaia and the movie’s director, Paul Weitz.
MARTINI gifted the director and actress with a magnum bottle of MARTINI Asti bedazzled in Swarovski crystals with the movie title.
After the breakfast, the guests were treated to a private screening of the movie and in the place of popcorn, they munched on cereal courtesy of General Mills and continued to sip on their bubbly.
Tina Fey has branched out into all facets of the entertainment world and is enjoying the sweet success. We will be looking forward to seeing her latest movie, ‘Admission’.
