You can be assured it is Fall when the leaves turn from green to browns and yellows upon the trees, simply a rainbow of beauty for the world to savor.  Fall was also in the air as the Costello Tagliapietra Fall 2012 Collection debuted at Milk Studios in New York City on Thursday, February 9th.

As each of the models glided down the runway, it was evident that the season had changed and brought with it subdued colors in rich browns and warm reds intertwined amongst two-toned hues of blue mixed with pink.

Dresses were the hot item of the season.  Draping, gathering, twisting, pleating and wrapping in such feminine patterns was what this collection was all about.  The hooded reversible cape coat was paired with the skinny pant which Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra are known so well for.  They brought these to us in dainty nightflower prints.

Pretty and professional was the bark pleated trouser.

The show came to an end with the more formal look in a lightweight one-shouldered gown, gathered gown, drape neck gown and finally the dreamy sea green cap sleeve wrap top dress.

Sitting front row and center, Susan Sarandon was spotted in black and white enjoying the show as we all did.  This was an enticing way to start off Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Week.
