Hollywood Glamour – Farah Angsana

Glamour and glitz set the stage for an elegant collection created by Farah Angsana at IMG/Mercedes-Benz Fall/Winter 2011 Fashion Week. Her Hollywood inspired looks captivated the audience as tall, attractive models sauntered down the catwalk in gowns, minis and fitted pants.

Embellishment and beading provided intricate detail to her richly decorated cocktail dresses. As was the constant trend on the runway these past few days, black took center stage followed by stunning royal blue and not so common teal and orchid.

Metallic minis looked super sexy shown in a variety of ways. From one-shouldered to a V-cut strapless number, they shouted majesty and grace.

Feathers and faux fur kept the Hollywood moment going and revealed a host of different wearable looks.

A real head turner was the strapless gold lame gown with the Russian barguzin sable vest with hand embroidered crystals.

Another heavenly pick was the scarlett corset draped short cocktail dress with hand embroidered applique.

As an appropriate finish to a spectacular show, the final outfit was well worthy of oohs and aahs. Down the runway paraded a suggestive white silk crystal encrusted gown with feather and organza ruffles. Complimenting the outfit was a silver fox stole.

As Farah Angsana walked out from backstage to take a bow, her smile said it all. This Fall/Winter 2011 showing has proven to be another ingenious collection for Farah’s wide customer base
