You might associate W Hotels with elegant hotel accommodations but you probably would never imagine the W Hotels linked to runway chic fashion.
Open your eyes and your mind to preview a winning collection. In September 2010 at New York Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Week, W Hotels debuted their Global Glam Collection which was curated by W’s own global fashion director, Amanda Ross.
The collection was inspired by fascinating global destinations – W London-Leicester Square (Dual Personalities), W St. Petersburg (Hidden Gem) and W Retreat and Spa Vieques (Rustic Elegance). Designers featured included Behnaz Sarafpour, Fallon, Lulu Frost and Minnie Mortimer.

Inspired by each of these dream destinations, designers displayed their luxurious outfits on young beauties.
A plaid strapless corset top was the perfect combination for a knee length black pencil skirt. A short silky beige formal dress with spaghetti straps and cut out sides to reveal a hint of skin took a turn to the elegant with chunky and flashy necklace and bracelet.
A simple tailored gray shirt worn over blue jeans can be dressed up with a black velvet suit jacket and a unique black and white silk scarf. Put on the rounded black hat and head out the door.
Marilyn Monroe was the driving force behind a white silk chiffon dress with a criss cross back and a short full skirt. The look will definitely light up the room.
You can feel the meaning of glamour with a gold ruched skirt and a revealing sheer black blouse with a pocket on the chest. Perhaps you might be partial to the gold shorts and white lace blouse topped with a thick gold rope chain.
No collection would be complete without the tight fitting little black dress that is shown with a suggestive low neckline.
Austere is good with a sleeveless satin bluish-green bubble frock draped at the hips and flattering any figure with a high neckline. Add some decoration with a large shining crystal necklace and 5 inch black heels.
Of course if you visit the spa destination, you must put on the bright yellow bikini that will contrast lovely with a super dark tan. Going for a quick bite to eat after the swim? Throw on a beige long-sleeved caftan with an orange tapestry pattern on the sleeves while the pattern creates a V effect on the front of the tunic as well.
